Marta Castro de Sa' 
GIS Specialist

Marta provides technical assistance to parishes and municipalities in the eleven parish CRPC region with mapping utilizing Geographical Information System (GIS) technologies. She also provides mapping and visualization support to staff performing various Metropolitan Planning activities and to Capital Area Transit System (CATS). Her professional interests include GIS implementations and emerging technologies to facilitate GIS data sharing within and across organizations. Among other things, she has expertise in graphic design and website development.

Marta was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She earned her degree in Arts from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and attended one semester at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Currently, she is working on her ESRI certification.
