Regional Travel Demand Management
Kenyatta leads the Travel Demand Management (Commuter Krewe) program under the guidance and leadership of the Capital Region Planning Commission. The Commuter Krewe program is provided to meet the transportation needs of our growing population and to help ease traffic congestion in the Capital Region. The program provides regional businesses, schools, and commuters with options and incentives to help reduce congestion on our roadways by choosing alternative transportation.
Prior to joining CRPC, she held a position at the Federal Highway Administration where she was a team leader for training, event organization, and administration processes. She has 13 years of federal experience.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications/Journalism with a concentration in Television Broadcasting from Southern University A&M College and holds a Women in Transportation (WTS) International certification.
