Jamie Setze

A Baton Rouge, LA native, Jamie has been with the Capital Region Planning Commission since July 2013. He started his career in transportation planning with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development in 1999 before transitioning to the Federal Highway Administration in 2001 as the Statewide Planning Engineer. While at FHWA, Jamie participated on the Louisiana Recovery Assistance Team post-Hurricane Katrina. In 2006, he was the recipient of USDOT’s National Secretary Award For Excellence. Jamie is a 1999 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, and used the GI Bill to complete his graduate studies in civil engineering from the University of Florida.
