Ahmed has been working with CRPC since 2012. His role as a transportation engineer and planner is to help CRPC with numerous transportation activities, including updating the regional transportation model, analyzing congestion data, and updating the pavement management system. He also created a transportation asset management system for the capital area.  With more than ten years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, Ahmed obtained a professional engineering license and a professional transportation planner certificate. He got his masters in civil engineering from LSU in 2011. Before moving to Louisiana, Ahmed worked for two years in Egypt after he got his bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Cairo University.
