Serving as CRPC’s Transportation Alternatives Coordinator, J. T. helps to implement CRPC’s non-motorized transportation plan. To make the plan successful, he works alongside public and private stakeholders to ensure all modes of transportation are equally represented and accounted for.
J.T. also serves on the Sustainable Transportation Advisory Committee to implement Complete Streets Policies in East Baton Rouge Parish, he leads the Bicycle and Pedestrian emphasis area for The Capital Region Transportation Safety Coalition, and coordinates with large area employers to implement Travel Demand Management policies.
Prior to joining CRPC, J.T. attended Purdue University where he received a bachelor’s degree in History. Upon graduation, he served as an AmeriCorps member with City Year Louisiana in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. After he leaving City Year, he attended Louisiana State University’s Public Administration Institute where he obtained an Master’s in Public Administration.
